About This Site
Who runs this site, and the thinking behind it.
About the site
Ylyuriy is an independently developed collection of free web tools for the small everyday moments when you need to decide something. It has been online since 2025.
Four tools are available today: Word Roulette, Web Dice, Amidakuji, and Bingo Machine. All of them run entirely in your browser — no account, no installation.
About the operator
Ylyuriy
This is a one-person site. The planning, design, code, writing, and day-to-day operation are all my own work.
The guiding idea is simple: make things that are genuinely useful and a little bit cute to use.
Development notes and everyday writing live on the blog (in Japanese).
Principles behind the tools
- No sign-up, no installation
You are never asked to create an account or install an app. Every tool is free, works the moment the page opens, and lets you close the tab whenever you are done. - What you type is never sent to us
The site is delivered as a static site with no server of its own. The words and names you enter, your draw history, and your settings are stored only in your own browser (local storage) and are never transmitted to our server. - Motion is optional
When your operating system is set to reduce motion, the spinning roulette and the line-tracing amidakuji animations are skipped. The results themselves are unaffected. - Usable on any device, and by keyboard
Every tool is built and checked to work the same way on phones, tablets, and desktops — and to be fully operable with a keyboard alone, without a mouse. - Available in Japanese and English
Every tool and page is published in both Japanese and English. You can switch between them at any time from the language selector in the header.
